Wazoku has been nominated for four more awards!

Following our nominations in three categories at this year’s BOLD Awards and our inclusion on Great Place to Work’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing, Wazoku has now been nominated for four more awards! Some of these recognize our organization as a whole, and some are for individual achievements. Read on below to find out more about each of these nominations.

National Technology Awards – Tech Growth Business of the Year:

First up, the National Technology Awards have nominated us in the Tech Growth Business of the Year category. Previous winners in this category include Giacom, Ecrebo, and last year’s winner Armis. We’re thrilled to be nominated alongside such businesses as CyberSmart, ClearScore, and Wise, and hope that the rapid growth we’ve enjoyed over the last year will be recognized.

The National Technology Awards takes place on 25^th May 2023 at London’s Marriott Hotel – Grosvenor Square.

GoTech Awards – Sustainable Business of the Year & Tech Entrepreneur of the Year (Simon Hill):

Next, we have landed two nominations at this year’s GoTech awards which recognize tech and innovation excellence. Following our B Corp™ Certification last year, we’ve been nominated in the category of Sustainable Business of the Year category, alongside fellow nominees including Octopus Energy and Cogo. It’s the second year of these awards, and last year Octopus Energy took home the trophy.

Elsewhere at the GoTech awards, our CEO & Founder Simon Hill has been nominated in the Tech Entrepreneur of the Year category. Last year’s award went to Andy Alderson of Vanarama, and this year Simon is nominated alongside Janice Rae of TechTalent, Adam Sharpe of Cardstream and Julian Thomas of Racelogic.

The GoTech Awards takes place on 22^nd June 2023 at the Hilton London Bankside.

Real Innovation Technology Awards – Diversity and Inclusion Champion (Sarah Counts):

Our final new award nomination comes from this year’s Real Innovation Technology Awards (RITA), a ceremony that Wazoku won the award for Technology Vendor of the Year at last year. This year, our COO Sarah Counts has been nominated in the Diversity and Inclusion Champion category. Wazoku’s diversity across our team is something we’re incredibly proud of and celebrate at every opportunity, so it is lovely for this to be recognized by this year’s RITA nominations.

The Real Innovation Technology Awards takes place on 18^th May 2023 at the W Hotel in Leicester Square, London.
